Holika Dahan story:
Holika is a name of a lady who blessed with never burn in fire. She is evil sister of demon king Hiranyakashyap.  Hiranyakashyap wished to end his blessed son, Prahlad's life with the help of his sister Holika because Prahlad was a devotee of lord Vishnu. For that reason Hiranyakashyap disided to punish his own son. Finally, Holika - Prahlada's evil aunt sit on bone fire with Prahlad and Holika was burned and Prahlad survived. Since then the day is celebrated in victory of good over bad.

Radha krishna story:
The love couple Radha - Krishna is closely linked with this color festival. Young Krishna, who had dark  and blue skin and he was jealous of his beloved Radha's extremely fair skin.
